Best Apps For Homework Help or Productivity

Technology has made daily homework much easier than ever before. There are many apps out there that are excellent for homework help, as well as apps that become helpful for those in the workforce. As many of you know, I thoroughly enjoy testing out apps! Here are my very best mobile, Mac and PC apps that can help any student in getting their work done or someone who needs help with productivity:

Memorigi

Memorigi

“Memorigi” is an Google Play To Do and Task list app where you can log in and keep a record of your work schedule. This app helps keep track record of upcoming workload and helps students to manage their time for their studies. It has a really simple view and students can customize app view according to their own taste and interests. Students can set alarms for coming tests, exams and study events. Unfortunately, there is no Apple alternative for you iPhone users!

Evernote

Evernote

I swore by Evernote when I was in college– especially the free versions. You can keep your notes using your phone, laptop or tablet to record and divide it by all of your classes or projects by creating tabs. Take the pictures and use a tablet pen as well!  Recording lectures using the app is a plus. At the end of the day, your notes will be organized and well structured and everything will be one click away! The best part is when you can work on organized brainstorming for projects, but that comes with an extra $69.99/year charge for premium. Otherwise, you can use Evernote Basic for the year.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy

Khan Academy was a great source when I needed some studying refreshers when my notes weren’t good enough. The series contains a large range of classes like Physics, Organic Chemistry and even Computer Science classes! I used it mostly for differential equations but they offer for other college courses. This would have especially been helpful when I was studying for my AP and SATs in high school! Their content can be viewed through their browser and app, containing videos, pictures and articles. This app is like an online library in your pocket!

WolframAlpha

WolframAlpha

The #1 tool that I used for my calculus classes: WolframAlpha. This app is a lifesaver from where you can get any formula. It’s an online and phone scientific calculator. With that being said, it’s not always the best tool to use if you use the free version but per day it will offer you step-by-step solution that will help you understand solutions calculated. There is a Pro for Students versions that is the perfect tool for homework and research. You can use it for graphic calculator purposes, as well as get expert help.

Forest

Forest

If you think that your phone is a hurdle between you and your work– then Forest is the best app for you! It keeps a visualized track of your daily homework productivity level. The approach takes a bit to get used to, since this app is more like a game that allows you to grow your own forest based on the time that you spend on activities. Whenever you start a project, you “plant” a virtual plant in this app, as time passes, the plant grows until it’s done. The theme of the app is in order to keep your forest alive, it restricts you from looking at other apps. This is the perfect gamification app for modern productivity.

Got any other apps that you can recommend?
